mfe Design provides an extensive portfolio for you to view before hiring us for your project so you can see the quality level of our work and be completely comfortable working with us. If you have any questions or reservations, please contact us prior to making a payment for our services.

Payments for custom design projects are made to us in increments as a courtesy to the client. Once a payment or deposit is made, it is non-refundable. If a project is canceled or postponed, all monies paid are retained by my friend earth™ Designs and if applicable, a fee for all work completed beyond what was already paid for shall be paid by the client.

Website Maintenance

When adding new text and/or content to a page the client is responsible for providing all text (in digital format) and images/photos. Unused hours do not roll over to subsequent months unless enrolled on a quarterly or yearly maintenance plan, at which the roll over lasts in accordance with plan selected. No refunds are provided for unused hours. There are absolutely no refunds for any fees related to website maintenance services. You may cancel and renew at any time via your my account section on our site. my friend earth™ Design may terminate this agreement at anytime with written notice to the client.

Website Hosting

Website Hosting accounts are set up at the time of order and are allotted a specific amount of server resources, according to the plan purchased. If client did not make use of the account, payment for services is still due. Payments for past months of web hosting are non-refundable. Hosting accounts are not cancelled until either transferred to client’s own hosting account or site is deleted from the server. Clients may request transfers/deletions in writing with the owner of the website’s signature of approval. If hosting payments are late, WordPress Admin portal will be suspended after 7 days. If hosting payments are not made within 21 days, the public facing website will be taken offline. If client paid for hosting account for 1-2 years in advance and cancels service before plan expiration date, a refund will not be given for the months not yet elapsed. If client received free products and/or services with their hosting plan purchase, those items will be cancelled and/or removed at time hosting plan is cancelled by client.

*my friend earth™ Design reserves the right disable and/or terminate a user’s account if a user is found in violation of the terms. Accounts terminated due to policy violations will not be refunded.

Third-Party Admin Access

For any managed website purchased through my friend earth™ Design, unless otherwise specified, my friend earth™ Design will be the only developer with full admin access (acting as master admin) to website. “Clients” of my friend earth™ Design will have limited admin access to their website based on scope of work agreement. For any requests for third-party access to client website, client will need to submit a liability waiver. *These third-party access requirements are for the security and integrity of every website in my friend earth™ Design’s control and care.
